more crinkle black finish is super nice condition is very stunning with the smooth black strips giving it a nice art deco look.The chrome or nickel plated pieces and keys shine nicely.Keys are black with white lettering and the two shift keys saying floating(in script) shift.The words Silent and smith corona are bright and look like new,Typewriter looks in working condition and does not appear to have been used much with very little wear.I tried typing on it and all keys work but one key does need a spring replaced(which is an easy fix with a little tinkering) otherwise it is in full working order.Case is included but the case does have outside wear and the bottom latch is missing but quick attach lever inside works good.

It needs a ribbon(available on eBay and elsewhere) The unit has a machine age military-looking olive green colored body. more body, surface rust on exposed metal parts, is missing linkages for the" and"100" spacer keys, is missing the retaining screws for the ribbon spools(does not affect operation) and could use some lubrication and/or adjustments for smooth operation(see pictures) The unit is in working condition, with good action on the keys and carriage movements.
